SAVING WITH MORECAMBE BAY CREDIT UNION

Saving with MBCU is very easy. First you have to become a member, which opens a share account in your name. You will be issued with a passbook and then you can start to save.

You can add money to your account in several ways:

Come to the office in Morecambe or to a collection point and hand over cash or write a cheque.
Make an arrangement with your bank for a standing order to pay into your account each week or each month.
Arrange a bank transfer online.

You can have up to £10,000 in your account.

Your money is safe with us and the government-backed Financial Services Compensation Scheme means that you will always be repaid what you have deposited with us.

You can withdraw some or all of your money at any time. To remain a member, you must keep at least £5 in your account.
